BIO
WORK EXPERIENCE

  Elder Dan Richbourg was born in Thomasville NC. He is the third of four children born to the union of Deacon Christopher D. Richbourg Sr and Evangelist Sarah J. Richbourg. Elder Richbourg was taught at a very early age to reverence God with your talents, be true to your word, and treat others with respect. He has carried this philosophy throughout his career. 

  

Elder Richbourg attended Zion Temple FBH Church in the city of Thomasville. Elder Richbourg was converted during a revival meeting conducted by Rev. Essie Johnson in Lexington NC. He was baptized and later joined the church in 1974 under the leadership of the late Elder Harry H Medlock. He served as Sunday school teacher, Usher #2, member of the Young Adult choir and male chorus, Ambassador for the North Carolina Central District, and Deacon.  

  

In 1994, Elder Richbourg married Ms. Ann Hodge and to that union two children Rodney and Roxie. In the month of June 1994 the couple relocated to Central Florida. Elder Richbourg pursued a career in Criminal Justice and was hired as a State Probation and Parole Officer. He later joined Zion Temple FBH Church under the leadership of the late Reverend Barnes. Elder Richbourg served as Sunday school teacher, Chairman of the trustee board and used his strong vocals in leading praise and worship. In 2005, he acknowledge his calling while serving under the late Elder Woodrow Brown and was ordained the same year by the late Bishop WE Fuller. He served as interim pastor at Zion Temple for one year. The following year, he was appointed Pastor.

In 2012, the family returned to Central Florida. Elder Richbourg completed his teaching certification and was employed by Orange County Public Schools.

While in St. Thomas, Elder Richbourg embarked on a career in education and accepted a teaching position with All Saints Cathedral School teaching Middle School history.

PRIMARY EDUCATION
Elder Richbourg attended the public schools of Davidson County, NC and graduated from Thomasville High School in 1985. Elder Richbourg excelled in sports (wrestling, football and track). He also worked hard to achieve educational goals; he was a member of the first Academic Decathlon team representing the State of North Carolina. He competed with students from around the country in the area of math, literature, World History and oral debate.

 Upon graduating from High School, he attended Fayetteville State University, Davidson County Community College (certificate in Business Administration), Shaw University Raleigh NC (B.A. Criminal Justice/Public Administration) and NOVA Southeastern University (M.S.
